What You'll Be Doing :
- Traverse the designated zone on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to provide a high level of visibility and to carry out a variety of tasks to improve the overall appearance and safety of the area.
- Engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile to provide directions and city info.
- Use a bag and picker to remove litter: fast food bags, cups, soda cans, cigarette butts, etc. Remove graffiti and posters from light posts, trash cans, etc. Clean outdoor surfaces.
- Pulls weeds from the base of trees, in cracks in the sidewalks/lots, etc.
- Operates a pressure washer to clean sidewalks, streets, and other areas.
- Operate a kaboda or litter vacuum to sweep up litter, debris, leaves, etc.
- Firmly and courteously request compliance from persons committing low-level crimes, such as panhandling, loitering, disruptive behavior, etc.
- Identifies unhoused individuals in need, establishes relationships, and introduces them to agencies to help meet their needs. Establishes mutual respect to reduce the public nuisance perception of homelessness.

Requirements Requirements: - One year of hospitality, community service, or customer service experience preferred. Will train.
- Must have a valid Driver's License for the state of Nevada
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to traverse on foot, bicycle, or vehicle continuously during an 8-hour shift, with normal breaks.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with the provided inclement weather uniforms .
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
